C-CHANGE FOR HAITI FOUNDATION, INC.

Executive Summary

The purpose of the C-CHANGE for Haiti Foundation, Inc. was organized to further the growth and development of Haiti through mobilizing resources to address the education, health and infrastructure needs of Haiti and her people. To accomplish the goals and provide leadership to the foundation, C-CHANGE for Haiti has organized a board of directors comprised of lawyers, physicians, engineers, and professors committed to participate in the rebuilding of Haiti.
C-CHANGE for Haiti Foundation board of directors and advisors, working closely with Haitians in Haiti, have already identified projects that will positively affect the lives of many Haitians in Haiti. Those projects include:

• Distributing food items to about 100,000 displaced and homeless people of Leogane and the surrounding areas. This is a top priority at this time since, in spite of the foreign aid; most people in the region are going hungry. They need the basics such as corn in various forms, wheat products, barley, rice, beans, flour, sugar, and vegetable oils, salt, spices, dairy products, water, and fuel for cooling (including charcoal).
  
  
• Providing 100,000 people with safe drinking water.  C-CHANGE for Haiti has allocated $200,000 in order to attain this goal and is meeting with both manufacturers of water purification/filtration system and with local Haitian leaders to evaluate various systems and eventually select the system that would best serve the local area.

• Procuring medical supplies and equipment for the health care providers already on-site in Haiti.

As known, the devastation caused by this massive earthquake has left Haitians facing enormous challenges. The C-CHANGE for Haiti foundation is determined to help meet those urgent needs.
