The devastation left by the recent earthquake
in Haiti has received worldwide attention. 
The people of Haiti are facing enormous challenges, including a lack of food, clean water, and medical supplies.  The C-CHANGE for Haiti Foundation is determined to help
meet those urgent needs.

FOOD:

C-CHANGE will be distributing food items to displaced and homeless people of Leogane and the surrounding area. This a top priority at this time since, in spite of the foreign aid, most people in the region are going hungry. They need the basics such as corn in various forms, wheat products, barley, rice, beans, flour, sugar, vegetable oils, salt, spices, dairy products, water, and fuel for cooking (including charcoal). Other essentials may well include pots, pans, dinnerware, and so forth.  We are working with other organizations to get a shipment to Leogane as soon as possible.

We are contacting the local government and neighborhood leaders to ensure that each family receives their fair share and that the distribution is equitable.

C-CHANGE and its network of advisors and friends are intimately familiar with Leogane and have made detailed plans as to how this work will be accomplished.

We understand that this project is a challenge, but it is simple in nature and only ambitious with respect to the numbers involved.  With your help, this project is within the capabilities of the Foundation.
